Greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions as a result of “green actions” are calculated, monitored and verified using the blockchain-based Green Tracker platform.

CLI supported the Chilean company EnergyLab in further developing the Green Tracker functionalities by incorporating an automated MRV system. EnergyLab developed suitable MRV systems based on international MRVs methodologies and state-of-the-art technologies like IoTs, AI and blockchain to monitor the practices of a sustainable transportation and a recycling and residues management company in Chile. The monitored data is integrated into the Green Tracker platform to calculate and track the resulting GHG emission savings. The solution helps "green action" developers to eliminate most of their MRV related burdens, and to capitalise their environmental contributions through the carbon markets.
