CLI’s value proposition to research and innovation funders

The intersection of climate and distributed ledger technology (e.g. blockchain) is a high potential innovation space. Engaging in the CLI brings funders right to the heart of it. All funders are invited to all CLI events and receive access to background information on research projects and use cases. CLI benefits from experiences and skills of funders. Key funders are invited to the Research or the Innovation Oversight Boards, and thus become directly involved in the respective funding decisions. They are also offered a programme of tailored capacity building workshops.

CLI is currently supported by contributions from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). We are actively engaging with other countries, international finance institutions, development agencies, companies and foundations interested to contributing to the CLI.
