New name, new focus: Seven years after its launch, the Climate Ledger Initiative (CLI) is now the Digital Climate Innovation (DCI) initiative. We want to continue on our path and build on the experience we have gained so far.

What's coming, what's staying?

The initiative is entering a new phase and we want to mark it with a new name. DCI is moving on from the general awareness-raising work of the early CLI years to focus on the practical implementation and scaling of digital approaches in specific areas of climate action.

At the same time, we want to retain and build on the extensive CLI expertise. It's evolution, not rupture. The DCI website signals this: it has a familiar look and feel and contains many familiar features, including the documentation of our reports and use cases. 

And it is also clear that we want you, our partners and interested readers, to be an important part of our initiative. In this spirit, we thank you for seven valuable years of CLI and look forward to what the future holds for DCI. 

This website will remain online for a while but will no longer be actively maintained. New content such as all news about DCI, past and future publications and information about upcoming events can be found on the new website www.digitalclimateinnovation.org.
